Vehicle Placards

Placard Policy

  • During the Annual Meetings, in Nusa Dua Tourism Area (ITDC), vehicle access restrictions apply from 6 - 14 October 2018 (piloted starting on 3 October 2018)
  • Only Vehicles with an official placard that have access to enter the Nusa Dua tourist area (ITDC).
  • There are 5 (five) types of Placard vehicles: “A Placard, "IPT / MTS / PCO A Placard", "Logistic A Placard", “B Placard B, and “ Taxi Placard.
  • Vehicle placards are limited and any submissions can only be addressed to the National Committee.
  • The Placards will be given to the Participants/delegations involved in the 2018 Annual Meetings IMF-World Bank Group;
  •  All vehicle drivers with Placard will be screened/ done background check in advance by the Bali Regional Police;
  • The Placard must be sticked on the windshield of the upper left corner of the vehicle.
  •  Placard can only be installed on the registered vehicle. It is non transferable. Any attempt to duplicate/replicate/violations of this provision are againts the law;
  • Authentic placard is a placard issued by National Commitee, has a hologram and legalized by Indonesia Secret Service (Paspampres).

Eligible entities allowed to receive placard:

  • A Placard: Minister of Country Delegation, Leader of Official Institution (e.g. ECB, ADB), Leader Major corporate entity (e.g. Citibank, Goldman Sachs, Barclay’s Bank), High Level Individual (Melinda Gates, Jack Ma), Leaders of International Organizations in partnership with the Indonesian Government, Ministerial-levelHost Government, Ministerial-level Delegation/Participant /Guest;
  • B Placard:Country Delegation, Official Institution (e.g. ECB, ADB), Major corporate entity (e.g. Citibank, Goldman Sachs, Barclay’s Bank), High Level Individual (Melinda Gates, Jack Ma), Major Press Institution (e.g. CNN, Financial Times, CNBC). The B Placard will be issued no more than 1 placard for each delegation/institution;
  • “IPT/MTS/PCO A Placard”: Indonesia Planning Team, Meetings Team Secretariat, Professional Conference Organizer.
  • “A Placard Logistic”: Supplier who support supplies services atThe Westin Hotel or The BNDCC during annual meetings, including  cash van service and Outside Broadcasting Mobile Van.
  • Taxi Placard: Taxi Provider which support the annual meetings. (Blue Bird Group, Kowinu Coop., Ngurah Rai Airport Taxi Services).

Any vehicles enter the ITDC area, the Indonesian Army and Police will do the following check:

  • The Placard
  • Vehicle and Bagage Check

The A Placard

  • Vehicles with A Placard are granted to access The Nusa Dua Area (ITDC) and Main Campuses areas (The Westin and The BNDCC)
  • Requests for A Placard should be submitted officially to the Secretary of the National Committee Secretariat (IPT). The A Placardwill be given to the eligible parties after it has been approved by the National Committee and the Meetings Team Secretariat (MTS).

A Placard for IPT/MTS/PCO

A Placard Logistics

  • Loading and unloading activities will be supervised by the Indonesian Army and Police.
  • Requests for A Placard should be submitted officially to the Secretary of the National Committee Secretariat (IPT). The A Placardwill be given to the eligible parties after it has been approved by the National Committee and the Meetings Team Secretariat (MTS).The documents below must be attached:
    • Vehicle registration
    • Driver's license
    • Supplier/catering name
  • A letter of request must be signed by the Director/ authorized person.

B Placard

Those who need vehicle access to the ITDC area are required to obtain an official placard B that are given to:
1) Annual Meetings Participants;
2) Side Event Participants;
3) Parties that are related to the Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) during the Annual Meetings.

  • Placard B is only given to 1 for each organization/institution.
  • The B Placard will be given to people-dedicated transportation vehicles.
  • Placard B is given after applicants fill Vehicle Authorization Forms, attach scanned supplementary documents then send them all to: transportationam2018@kemenkeu.go.id. Download Vehicle Authorization Form here.
  • The B Placard is only granted to enter the ITDC area. It has no access to the main campuses (The BNDCC and BICC)
  • The National Committee has full authority to reject or approve the request.

Taxi Placard

  • The Taxi Placard is only granted to enter the ITDC area through the North Gate. It has no access to the main campuses (The BNDCC and BICC).
  • The Taxi placard is only issued to taxi service providers who have submitted a written letter to the National Committee and committed to supportthe 2018 Annual Meeting IMF-World Bank Group.
  • The Taxi Placard will be issued up to 700 placards, consist of: 300 taxis in the ITDC area, 100 taxis at the I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, and 300 taxis for area other than the ITDC area and the I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport.
