Local Transportation

Using public transportation in Bali is affordable. Trans Sarbagita is a bus rapid transit system that serves passengers on Batu Bulan-Sanur-Kuta Central Parking lot-ITDC route every 15 minutes from 5 am until 9 pm local time. The fee is IDR3,500 or around US$25 cents. Or you can take a taxi. The starting fare of taking a taxi is IDR6,000 (less than US$40 cents) followed by IDR5,000 per kilometer. For example, each passenger will pay around IDR70,000 (about US$4) if they take a taxi from Ngurah Rai International Airport to the conference venue in ITDC. The cost from Nusa Dua area to Kuta or Legian area will be about IDR80,000 if a taxi is preferred. 
It is advisable for every passenger to carry small change because taxi drivers are often short of change. Taxis can be found in major hotels and the airport. The rates will depend on the destinations. Metered taxis with air conditioning are more convenient for the participants of the Annual Meetings. In many airport terminals, participants are recommended to go to the information counter should they wish to use local transportations. In addition to the above public transportations, car and motorcycle rentals are available. If you wish to be granted vehicle access, you must apply an official Placard B.


Shuttle service buses are offered by 21 appointed hotels for the Annual Meetings that will take the participants from the Ngurah Rai International Airport;

TRAC and Blue Bird Group are recommended car rental companies.
The participants / the delegates can rent cars on parties other than IPT recommendations, and stickers are still given by sending an email request of Placard B.
The maximum placard B that can be given to "Participants" who submit requests is 1 Placard for each country (excluding the ED office).

Taxi call center is available for 24 hours. Official taxis will have placards and are allowed to enter the perimeter ‘B’; Delegates who need taxis to reach the ITDC area can contact the call center according to the area they are in, and will be picked up by taxis with placard. Taxis with no badges for AM will not be able to enter perimeter 'B'. (AM Badges, Registration Confirmation Letter, Fund Badge, Bank Badge). Delegates who wish to enter the ITDC area by taking non-official taxis will be directed to transit at the Lagun Field Stop Feeder then resuming the trip by using available bus feeder / official taxis.
